Set up onboarding in HireHint

Prepare reusable tasks and workflows before starting a new hire's onboarding.

For admins, managers

Before you start

You need onboarding settings access for the intended employees. Preparing a workflow does not start onboarding or send invitations.

What to do

  1. Open Settings, then Employee Management > Onboarding. Choose Tasks to review or create reusable task categories and tasks.
  2. For each task, review its instructions, assignee, and any employee profile information the assignee needs.
  3. Open Workflows and choose Add a new workflow. Review the name, applicable employees, timing, and available account or profile options.
  4. Prepare the onboarding website and assign the relevant tasks. Use the preview to check the employee experience before saving.
  5. When you are ready to onboard an employee, use Start onboarding in the employee workspace and review the workflow and recipients before confirming.

If something is not right

Saving a reusable workflow is not proof that an employee was invited or a document was signed. Check the individual journey, task, invitation, and document states.

Available controls can vary with your role, plan, workspace configuration, and connected providers. These guides do not change your company's policies.
