Surveys & performance
Why anonymous survey results can be hidden
Understand minimum response thresholds and reporting safeguards.
For admins, managers, employees
Before you start
An anonymous survey's response count and the results that can be reported are not the same thing.
What to do
- Review whether the survey is configured for identified or anonymous feedback.
- Check the configured minimum response threshold before expecting results.
- Remember that individual questions and demographic groups can have additional reporting safeguards.
- Avoid narrowing groups or repeating requests in an attempt to identify a respondent.
If something is not right
Wait for sufficient responses where appropriate. Do not reduce privacy protections merely to expose a small group, and do not promise that free-text answers cannot contain identifying details.
Available controls can vary with your role, plan, workspace configuration, and connected providers. These guides do not change your company's policies.
