HireHint AI Search
The right search.
A more human shortlist.
Good hiring starts with understanding who you need. Turn a thoughtful brief into candidate discovery, then look closer before deciding who comes next.
From intent to insight
Describe the person. Then look beyond the preview.
A search is the beginning of a conversation, not the final decision. Move from discovery to evidence at your own pace.
- 01
Write the brief.
Describe the role, relevant skills, experience, and location. When searching for a job, use its context as a starting point.
- 02
Explore possibilities.
Review the returned candidate previews. Open profiles to see the information already available.
- 03
Choose to research.
Use Research profile to investigate experience, education, fit, and available email and phone details.
- 04
Choose the next step.
Review the evidence and gaps, then add an appropriate profile to a job or your talent pool, subject to your permissions.
Research, not assumptions
A profile tells a story. Evidence adds perspective.
Look at the details behind a match, not just a promising title. Research brings available experience, education, skills, and criteria evidence together.
What is supported.
See which criteria the available information supports, and follow supporting source links where provided.
What needs another look.
Review criteria that appear unmet. Consider the context before deciding what that means for the role.
What is still unknown.
Missing evidence stays unverified. An unanswered question is not proof that a person lacks a skill.
Available contact details
Look closer. Keep what you find.
Profile research checks for available email and phone information alongside the person's background. Adding the candidate saves the details already found.
No contact details are guaranteed. A discovered profile does not establish permission to contact the person, and adding a candidate does not send a message.
Keep the search moving
More possibilities. A deliberate next step.
Adjust the direction without losing sight of why you started.
Refine the brief.
Learn from the first results, update your requirements, and continue the research with a clearer brief.
Find more people.
Keep the same criteria and request another batch. Previously shown or removed profiles are excluded.
Bring them into hiring.
Choose a job destination or talent pool. Review existing-candidate or contact conflicts instead of treating every result as a new person.
Explore recruitingInformed by AI. Directed by you.
Your judgment. At every important step.
HireHint helps gather information. Your team reviews its relevance, accuracy, and appropriate use.
Separate actions.
Discovery, research, saving a profile, and contacting a person are different steps. One does not stand in for another.
Visible limits.
Workspace credits, permissions, and configured sources determine what is available. There is no promise of unlimited research.
People make the decision.
AI evidence can be incomplete or incorrect. Review the original context and keep human responsibility for hiring decisions.
A little more clarity
Your questions. Considered.
How is AI Search different from AI Agent?
AI Search is a focused discovery and research workflow that you direct. AI Agent is configured for a job, with an ideal candidate profile, action settings, activity, and handover. You can explore either workflow without treating a search as permission to contact someone.
Does opening a result research the candidate?
No. Opening a result lets you inspect its available preview. Choose Research profile when you want HireHint to research experience, education, fit, and available contact details.
Will every profile have an email address and phone number?
No. Research checks for available details, but either can remain unavailable. Adding a candidate saves the details already found; it is not a guarantee of contact information or a separate contact lookup.
Can I refine a search or find more people?
Yes. Continue the research with an updated brief when your requirements change, or use Find more to request another batch against the same criteria. Previously shown or removed profiles are excluded from that additional batch.
Does adding someone send them a message?
No. Saving a sourced candidate is separate from outreach. A discovered profile is not evidence that the person has applied, consented to contact, or expressed interest. Review the appropriate next step before contacting them.
What do we need to use AI Search?
Availability depends on workspace configuration, supported sources, permissions, and sufficient company credits. Discovery and research are separate operations; check the allowance and usage shown in your workspace.
